Complete set of this very scarce reprint of the even scarcer original 5 volumes, published between 1802 and 1806. This is a facsimile reprint with an extensive new introduction. This work defined the canon of children s literature and was extremely influential. The complete work has never been reprinted before. This is an ex-library set without external markings. Internally, the endpapers have been renewed and there are traces of the removal of a library label on the verso of the title page in volume 1.
