Louis-René Tulasne (1815-85) and his brother Charles (1816-84) cooperated in a life-long study of botany, especially mycology. Charles was the artist and executed most of the illustrations to their works. About the so called ?Ghost fungus? in Australia with its luminescent fruit-body, which was first described in 1814. Fries (1832-1913) was son of Elias Fries and like his father professor of botany at the University of Uppsala.
