He would later revise it to cover an additional twenty years. This copy, called the "Author's Edition," is in a modern rebinding of red cloth with titling in gilt on the spine. Clean text; 856 pages. Frontis portrait of Barnum, with 32 other illustrations within. A bit of spotting, mainly contained to the Title Page and tissue guard. The new binding is As New condition. Second Edition.
