Very good dust jacket with light edgewear and small tear to lower rear, some tearing to upper spine, and evidence of an old price sticker near upper right corner. Second printing, book club edition. Hardcover. 430 pp (w/ index). A classic book on military strategy that first appeared in 1929 under the title "The Decisive Wars of History". The book was revised and expanded after the first hydrogen bomb detonation, and as warfare progressed, so did Hart's reflection of it and its methods.
