Original green vellum decoratively stamped and lettered in gilt on front cover and spine, top edge gilt, fore-edge and tail untrimmed. Boards splayed and moderately rubbed, board edges rubbed with a few minor bumps, rear board slightly scuffed. Text block edges modestly toned, front hinge starting, ink ownership signatures on front free endpaper, occasional small thumbprints, endpapers heavily foxed on rectos and versos with lighter foxing on preliminary and terminal leaves.
