This G quality book was published in 1914 by A. L. Burt Company and has 251 numbered pages of text and 4 unnumbered pages of ads. This book has a serious lean, is moderately-to-heavily soiled, free of edge dings but with both lower rear corners and the top rear corner lightly bumped; the head and heel of the spine are bumped with wear and slight fraying; the bottom edges have a modest amount of wear. The front panel and the spine have a large "splash" type of defect (see photo) which has dissolved much of the paint, exposing the treads of the binding; this does not weaken the binding or lead to fraying, but it is noticeable and unsightly. Except for an inked name and a price stamp on the FFEP, the interior is completely free of writing, stray marks and page damage of any type; there are some small stains in the margins of this book.
