Red publisher's cloth-covered boards, gilt-stamped lettering on the spine, embellished with blind rules. Fore and lower text block edges deckled. 8vo. Cloth is heavily worn and a little marked, rubbed and rounded on edges, fraying at spine ends. Text block edges darkened and soiled. Some toning on endpapers, previous bookseller's tickets on front paste down, first signature of pages a little loose and frontispiece partially detached. Some creaming and toning to worn pages throughout. Previous owner's inscription inked at top of title page. Slightly shaken.
