First issued in 1904, and still going strong (now called "Oryx: The International Journal of Conservation"), this is an issue of this important journal concerning animals in the wild and a measured, scientific approach to preserving nature and conserving wildlife. The Society had as its Patron, HM Queen Elizabeth II, and as one of its Vice-Presidents, David Attenbourgh. The photo will provide a list of the main articles in this issue, and there are regular features as well such as "Notes and News", brief bulletins, book reviews, etc. This copy has the "Annual Report and Accounts 1981" laid in. There is a little browning but a very good copy indeed which looks to be unread.
