The closed loop vector control technique is used for the complete drive. The FLC is used as an intelligent speed controller. A current controlled voltage source inverter fed IPMSM drive is developed and implemented in real-time. The performance of various current controllers, particularly, hysteresis and ramp comparator controllers for the IPMSM drive, are investigated and compared both theoretically and experimentally.
