Publisher's green cloth hardcovers with title label to the spine. Contents clean, light spotting to first and final gatherings, ink gift note to endpaper, some uneven sunning to covers. Very good. With a chapter by Philip Brownrigg (1911-98), one of Ian Fleming's closest friends. Both attended Eton and Brownrigg was a golfing partner of Fleming, recruited by him to join Kemsley Newspapers after the war. He later worked for DeBeers and helped Fleming research for Diamonds are Forever and The Diamond Smugglers. This copy is from the prize-winning Ian Fleming Bibliographical Archive, assembled by Jon Gilbert (pencilled ownership within). Gilbert, p.636.
