Feasta is an Irish-language literary magazine, established by Conradh na Gaeilge via the publishing company Clódhanna Teoranta in 1948. Feasta is published monthly. It is a review of Irish thought, literature, politics, and science. Its aims are many: to promote short fiction; to provide a platform for Irish-language poets to showcase their work; to discover young writers and to give them heart; to direct second level and third level students towards writing in Irish; to impress upon Irish-language organisations the importance of the written word; to promote writing workshops in Irish, and to develop a rapport between Feasta and visual artists.
