The Silas desk is made of black FSC-certified ash and comes from the collection of the Dutch brand WOOOD. This desk has two practical drawers and is made of ash wood (finger jointed), has been sanded and lacquered in the colour blacknight. Ash wood is a slightly soft wood with a tight, straight grain. The straight grain pattern ensures that ash wood can be bent well, which makes ash wood very suitable for the furniture industry.
