The full-height button placket with natural mother-of-pearl buttons is concealed beneath two overlapping red picot-stitch ruffles. The gathers of the skirt, attached to the bodice at the waist, the wide tier at the bottom gives the dress a lovely fullness. The long sleeves are tightened at the wrists with a hidden elastic band that will let even the plumpest little hands slip through.
