The York Plyo/Set-up Boxes have been designed with athletes in mind. They have many uses, then main ones are being used as stackable Plyometric boxes for explosive training, step-up boxes for all over body conditioning, circuit based training and with the addition of the Beveled Technique Box, these are used for doing partial lifts (starting from a set height) such as cleans. This is particularly useful when limited movement is apparent in a lower limb through injury, but the athlete and trainer still feel they can lift the weight from an agreed height Boxes are made from 22mm thick oak finished, plywood and are all hand made to a fixed size of 60cm x 60cm (square) 12mm high-density rubber is used to cover the top of the boxes. The rubber used generates a superior level of grip; this is perfect for when the boxes are being used to jump onto and off, as the athlete will have greater confidence in the surface they will be jumping onto Boxes are stackable in whichever combination is neede
